These beautiful hand crafted fused Glass Cow Parsley Coasters make a beautiful addition to your coffee table The textured raised contour to the fused glass surface makes it a very tactile piece that you’ll want to touch!
The Cow Parsley Coasters are a handmade and made to order item, so it will not be identical to the images shown but will be made just for you! As a result, slight variation from the image shown should be expected.
CREATIVE PROCESS
The design is made on a base consisting of two layers of glass, one coloured and the other clear. Small pieces of coloured glass frit and long thin stringers have been added to make the floral design. The piece is then fired in the kiln to just the right temperature so that the glass fully fuses together and the design becomes a smooth raised contour to the surface making a very tactile piece. Each firing process can take up to 14 hours to complete and every time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly and annealed for long enough to give it durability and strength.
A washable cushioned dot has been attached on each corner on the underside of the coaster to protect your furniture.

The Coaster measures approximately 10cm x 10cm x 6mm thick.

Every item in the shop is handmade by me and this item is carefully wrapped inside a box with tissue paper packing. The outer postage box will be packed with recycled, biodegradable or paper packing and sent by ‘signed for’ Royal Mail.
