Shoal of fish Sculpture is a handmade item, the one in the photograph is the one you’ll receive! 

The circular glass piece measures approximately 28.5cm in diameter. The metal stand measures 32.5cm across and the whole piece is 39cm tall.

The rectangular base of the stand measures 25cm long x 10cm wide

Creative process

The piece has been made using a combination of clear sheet art glass and powders. Previously made ‘pebbles’ have been added to enhance the design. The base and the fish have been made separately using different methods and unique firing schedules and finally they are fired together to fuse the fish onto the base. Each firing process can take up to 14 hours to complete and every time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly and annealed for long enough to give it durability and strength.

Every item in the shop is handmade by me and this item is carefully packed.  The outer postage box will be packed with recycled, biodegradable or paper packing and sent by ‘Tracked 24’ Royal Mail.
