Christmas Tree Light Catcher Card

This beautiful hand-crafted fused glass Christmas Tree Light Catcher Card has been handmade by me in my studio. The textured raised contour to the fused glass surface makes it a very tactile piece that you’ll want to touch!

The Christmas Tree Light Catcher Card is handmade, so will not be identical to the images shown but be made just for you. As a result, sight variation from the image shown should be expected.

CREATIVE PROCESS

The design has been made with a base layer of clear glass on which hand cut glass, glass paints and tiny glass pieces have been added to make the design. The piece is then fused in the kiln to just the right temperature so that design remains a raised contour on the surface making a very tactile piece. Each time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly and annealed to give it durability and strength.

A hole is then drilled into the top of glass and a piece of organza ribbon is attached for hanging. The glass piece is attached with glue dots to the card making it easy to remove.

SIZE DETAILS

The glass piece measures approximately 7cm tall x 6cm wide at the base.

The card is bright white, measuring approximately 13.5cm square and blank inside for your own greeting.

If sending through the post, pease use the additional packaging included to protect the glass. The card will come to you in a compostable cellophane wrap.
