Glass Fusion Home Decor Workshops

Location: Ockrook, Derby

Design and make your own creations in fused glass! Make something unique for yourself or as a gift.

The workshop is ideal for both beginners and those with some glass experience, no artistic talent is needed!

Choose from a variety of projects for example: coaster, free standing curve or a panel which you can either hang or frame. 

The price of the workshop will include safety equipment and all tools & materials needed to complete your project and firing in the kiln. Step by step guidance will be given to enable you to complete your project successfully.

Each workshop will be limited to 5 places and will last 2.5 hours from 9.30am to 12pm with hot drinks and biscuits/cakes provided, please advise of any food intolerances when booking.

Book individually or as a group of up to 5 people or buy a workshop as a gift, just enter your gift message when adding to the basket.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the event

    I loved my Christmas workshop. It was a gift from my daughter and with no experience of arty stuff I arrived with some trepidation. I need not have worried. Jyoti was welcoming and extremely helpful. All safety aspects of working with glass were explained, all techniques demonstrated and loads of examples were available to copy or adapt. The morning flew by. The only thing I hadn’t taken into account was that the finished pieces would have to go into the kiln, obviously on reflection! So collection was a bit of a juggling act for me.

It was a total escape activity and we just got lost in creating our pieces. I am totally useless at artistic stuff normally, but the pieces actually turned out really beautifully!
    My husband, who has far more artistic flare, created a stunning sunflower!
    I couldn’t recommend this workshop enough and am thinking of going again….I can see it being quite addictive!

    I had a lovely morning with Jyoti and a small group of other lovely ladies in her home studio for a glass fusion workshop a couple of weeks ago. I made a pretty sun catcher for my office window, and it has turned out exactly as I hoped it would. Jyoti is a gentle and supportive tutor.

    I’ve always wanted to try working with glass and the experience didn’t disappoint. Clear guidance and safety advice, all equiptment provided and access to anything we needed. I enjoyed it so much, I have booked another workshop in August and also bought two of her pieces.

    If you ever wanted to have a go at glass fusion, I recommend you try a class with Jyoti. Enjoy!! Xx
