Sheep Nightlight

DESCRIPTION

This beautiful hand-crafted fused glass Sheep Nightlight has been handmade by me in my studio. The textured raised contour to the fused glass surface makes it a very tactile piece that you’ll want to touch!

The Sheep Nightlight is a handmade and made to order item, so it will not be identical to the images shown but will be made just for you! As a result, slight variation from the image shown should be expected.

The night light is cool to the touch and its low profile design will look ideal in any setting. The soft, gentle light is suitable for bedrooms and nurseries.
This night light provides enough light to help guide your way through rooms and hallways.
Save energy too with the LED auto sensor technology that is ideal to run and automatically switches the night light ON at dusk and OFF at dawn.

CREATIVE PROCESS

Layers of coloured glass and have been arranged on a square green base to make the design. The piece is then fired in the kiln to just the right temperature so that the glass only just starts to melt and becomes a smooth raised contour to the surface making a very tactile piece. Each firing process can take up to 14 hours to complete and every time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly and annealed for long enough to give it durability and strength.

The glass piece measures approximately 8cm square.

Every item in the shop is handmade by me and this item is carefully gift wrapped in an organza bag inside a box with tissue paper packing. The outer postage box will be packed with recycled, biodegradable or paper packing and sent by ‘signed for’ Royal Mail.
