Hand Crafted Fused Glass Dichroic Stud Earrings On Silver Plated Findings

CREATIVE PROCESS

The dichroic stud earrings are handmade by me in my studio by firing layers of glass at high temperature in my kiln until they fuse together and then cooled slowly and fully annealed to give it durability and strength and so creating a unique & beautiful piece of jewellery.

When fusing with Dichroic coating the surface crystallises profusely sending thousands of miniature crystalline-like mirrors upward, positioning themselves in different directions. The way in which this catches the light is difficult to capture in a photo and must be seen to be fully appreciated.

SIZE

Approximate size of the glass piece is 6mm.

Every item in the shop is handmade by me and this item is carefully gift wrapped in an organza bag inside a box with tissue paper packing. The outer postage box will be packed with recycled, biodegradable or paper packing and sent by ‘signed for’ Royal Mail.
