Fused Glass Rainbow Light Catcher

DESCRIPTION

Rainbows are symbols of hope, new beginnings, and peace, often appearing after a storm as a promise of better times.

This beautiful hand-crafted fused glass Rainbow Light Catcher has been handmade by me in my studio. The textured raised contour to the fused glass surface makes it a very tactile piece that you’ll want to touch!

The Rainbow Light Catcher is handmade, so it will not be identical to the images shown but will be made just for you! As a result, slight variation from the image shown should be expected.

CREATIVE PROCESS

The design has been made using tiny pieces of coloured Art glass arranged to make the rainbow design. The piece is then fused in my kiln so that the design remains as a raised contour on the surface making a very tactile piece. Each time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly and annealed to give it durability and strength.

A white organza ribbon is attached for hanging and is presented in a box for gifting.

The glass piece is a circle measuring 8cm across.
