Christmas Robin hanging decoration  light catcher.

DESCRIPTION 

This beautiful hand-crafted fused glass Robin Light catcher has been handmade by me in my studio. The textured raised contour to the fused glass surface makes it a very tactile piece that you’ll want to touch!

The Robin Light catcher is handmade, so it will not be identical to the images shown but will be made just for you! As a result, slight variation from the image shown should be expected.

CREATIVE PROCESS

The design has been made using fusible glass paints for the robin and then tiny pieces of coloured Art glass arranged to complete the design. The piece is then fused in my kiln so that the design remains as a raised contour on the surface making a very tactile piece. Each time the glass is fired it is cooled slowly and annealed to give it durability and strength.

A red satin ribbon is attached for hanging and is presented in a box for gifting.

The glass piece  measures approximately 9cm across at its widest point.
